Our Volunteer network is invaluable to the work that we do. Without these inspiring and hard-working individuals, we would not be able to conduct the work that we do, nor would it be as enjoyable!
Volunteers are core people to our organisations with many of them bringing their work experiences, skills and opinions to our work which is ever developing.
VOLUNTEER ROLES
We have a number of roles where people can join us and volunteer with the WildSpace team:
- Engagement Volunteer: Join our fundraising and engagement team at major events and festivals to run activities and promote our organisation.
- Conservation Volunteer: Get involved with our conservation work on areas of land that we manage for wildlife and people. (Currently looking for Volunteers in Seaham)
- Marine Surveyors: Working with our Cetacean Station and See the Sea project, join our Marine Officer and monitor dolphins and whales up and down the coast. We are looking for volunteers to help us Photo-ID species.
