Community Wildlife Homes

We run a series of Wildlife Homes projects in various different communities. This allows us to work with local people looking to make a difference for wildlife, but also allows us to create wild spaces for wildlife. Our projects mostly involve species that are considered declining due to lack of breeding spaces, but we also use firm people favourites particularly in schools and businesses.

There are various ways you can get involved in our Community Wildlife Homes projects! You can email us or contact us on social media to be put in touch with the local group or Community Ranger in that area, or you can pitch us a project you would like us to get involved in and we can see where we can help out.

Another way to help us, is by Adopting a Box. For each box that is sponsored, it allows us to create a site a new home for wildlife. This can include our key species; Hedgehog Box, Owl Box, Passerine Box, Reptile Home or Bumblebee Box.

With your Adopt a Box donation, you will receive; monthly updates on your box, community stories from your box’s project, a thank you box including facts on your box species, a cuddly toy and other goodies, we will also include a thank you on our Adoption page.

YOUR STORIES

We are always looking to partner or work with local groups creating a space for wildlife in their local areas. This can be working together on a nest box recording project, monitoring of species such as cetaceans, or creating a buzz around wildlife by running bird box workshops and more! We’re always open to hearing your inspiring ways to create a wild space.
