Day One

Arrival at accommodation after departing your ferry (or flight), our Guide will be ready and waiting to settle you into your accommodation before we then embark on a short birding trip. Evening meals will be booked for you to turn-up and enjoy together.

Day Two & Three

Our days will be spent exploring the island primarily focused on locating and watching goose flights which are in their numbers; 35 thousand Barnacle Geese and 12 thousand Greenland White-fronted Geese of note. We will also then look for Otters on the seafront. White-tailed Eagles and the possibility of Golden Eagle will make the skies come alive as we enjoy a journal around. These days are also where any upgrades may be applied.

Day Four

Departure day. After breakfast, we will enjoy a short birding trip to some of our favourite sites to see species we may have missed before then dropping you off at your return route.

Bill Heaney

Billy is an outgoing, adventurous wildlife presenter, fun-loving Zoologist, filmmaker, and keen paddle-boarder.
He is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s nature comedy show Nature Table, he has appeared on BBC One’s Countryfile showcasing the reintroduction of pine martens into the Forest of Dean.
